ecoLAN - About us

Ecolan Engineering and Environmental Consultancy S.L. is a young and bold engineering located in the environment of Mondragón, arised from the collaboration between Fagor Electrodomésticos S.Coop. and Saiolan, bussines entrepreneur centre for launching new activities. Ecolan was created with a defined objective, support the environmental development of the companies which collaborates.

Ecolan Engineering and Environmental Consultancy S.L. divides the activity in three main types: waste collection and recovery systems, projects of collaboration with companies and environmental formation and ecodesign classes.

Waste collection and recovery systems.

The Ecolec Foundation is a waste collection and recovery system for Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment, and one of our main customers. From the beginning of their activity, in 2006, they hired Ecolan Engineering's services. Since then our company has assumed responsibilities so different like the logistic coordination, the relationship with the operators or technical issues of the system, as well as the attendance to the WEEE Forum technical working groups as Ecolec.

Projects of Collaboration with companies.

Our company collaborates closely with companies in projects related with the recycling and design of products with the environmental approach. These projects and products have been recognized and supported by the administration several times.

Environmental formation and ecodesign classes.

The experience accumulated during the years of activity has allowed Ecolan to collaborate in the environmental lessons in the class of Ecodesign of the University of Mondragon, also work as environmental tutors of different projects inside the ecodesign class.

Also, Ecolan Engineering offers other environmental services as well as specific lessons.
